Mokume Gane Fireplace Pendant 675-00139
Pickup currently unavailable
Mokume-gane ("wood grain metal") is a 17th-century Japanese metalworking technique creating layered, mixed-metal laminates with patterns resembling wood grain. It involves diffusion bonding stacks of precious metals (gold, silver, platinum, etc). This pendant blends 14kt white gold, 14kt rose gold, sterling silver and palladium with fancy colored champagne, yellow, and brown diamonds in a unique, sculptural design. The contrasting metals create depth and dimension, while the varied stones add subtle color throughout the form. Its delicate scale and fluid shape give it a light presence that stands out without feeling heavy.
The combination of warm rose tone and cool silver tone gives the piece a layered look that works with a range of chains and styles. The gemstones are arranged within the design to highlight its curves and open spaces, creating movement as the pendant catches the light.
Crafted with attention to detail, this pendant offers a balanced mix of texture and color in a compact silhouette. *CHAIN SOLD SEPERATELY*
